Charge startups to test their signup and checkout pages

Use Claude Code and a browser testing tool to click through a software startup's signup, onboarding, checkout, and password reset pages, then hand the founder a bug report ranked by lost sales. Founders pay a fixed price for each audit.

The hard part: finding small software founders and getting them to watch a cold video from a stranger.

Who pays

Founders of small subscription software companies pay a one-time fee for an audit report with screenshots, steps to repeat each bug, a severity rating, and fixes ranked by how much revenue each bug costs. Gofralo suggests $500 for a small landing page and signup audit, $1,500 for a full audit of the product's main flows, and $2,500+ if you include automated tests the founder can keep running. These prices are the poster's proposal. The source does not report anyone's revenue from selling this.

How to build it

  1. Set up browser testing

Install Playwright, a free tool that controls a web browser. Use Claude Code to write scripts that open a site, click through each step, and save screenshots.

  2. Write a checklist and report template

Cover five flows: homepage to signup, signup to onboarding, onboarding to first real use, pricing to checkout, and account to billing. Test each one on desktop and a mobile screen size, on a slow connection, with wrong inputs, and with expired logins.

  3. Send founders a free sample

List 20 small software products. For each one, record a 3-minute Loom video showing one real problem you found, send it to the founder, and offer the full audit.

  4. Run the full audit

Run your scripts across all five flows and have Claude Code write up each failure with screenshots and the steps to repeat it.

  5. Deliver a ranked report

Group the issues into revenue-critical, medium priority, and friction. Add the estimated effort to fix each one and export them to the founder's Linear or Jira if they use one.

  6. Collect payment and offer ongoing tests

Bill through Stripe Payment Links. Offer the test scripts as an upgrade the founder can keep running after each update.

Gofralo proposes selling an AI-assisted QA (testing) audit built with Claude Code and Playwright that covers signup, onboarding, checkout, and core product flows. The report includes screenshots, steps to repeat each bug, severity, and fixes ranked by revenue impact. The poster says the first audit can be done in 1-2 days and suggests $500, $1,500, or $2,500+ in pricing. The poster names small software companies making $10k-$100k a month as the best buyers and suggests starting by sending 20 founders a 3-minute Loom that shows one real issue.
