Sell add-on scripts to GTA roleplay server owners
Use Claude to write add-on scripts for FiveM, the platform people use to run their own GTA roleplay servers. Sell them to server owners on the official Cfx Marketplace, even if you can't code.
The hard part: getting a new seller's scripts noticed on a crowded marketplace and testing each one well enough on a real server before release.
Who pays
FiveM server owners pay a one-time price for scripts that add jobs, shops, vehicles, or other features to their servers. The poster says one person sells a single script for $389 on the Cfx Marketplace, and another runs a FiveM roleplay server making $4000 a month. These are the poster's own claims, and the poster says neither seller can code.
How to build it
Find what server owners want
Browse the Cfx Marketplace and FiveM community forums and Discords to see which kinds of scripts sell well and what buyers complain about.
Set up a test server
Run a FiveM server on your own computer with a common framework like QBCore or ESX so you can try every script before you sell it.
Have Claude write the script
Describe the feature to Claude in plain words and ask it to write the Lua code for your framework. Paste any errors from the server back into Claude until the script works.
Record a demo and setup guide
Record a short in-game video of the script working and write clear install steps, so buyers know what they're getting.
List it on the Cfx Marketplace
Create a creator account on the Cfx Marketplace, upload the script with your demo and guide, and set a price.
Add a showcase page
Put up a simple page on Vercel that lists all your scripts with demos and update notes and links to each marketplace listing. Answer buyer questions in a Discord server.
