Rewrite AI companies' websites so buyers understand them
Rewrite the websites of AI companies that sell to other businesses so they say in one line what the product does, answer the questions buyers ask before a demo, and can be read by Google and ChatGPT. These companies pay because they can build a product but struggle to explain it.
The hard part: convincing AI founders to pay for clear words and structure when they can build a page themselves in minutes.
Who pays
AI companies that sell to other businesses pay for a website rewrite, and optionally a monthly fee to keep the site current as the product changes. The poster moved into this work after their template sales fell but reports no revenue from it yet. Any price for this service is only a suggestion.
How to build it
Study AI company homepages
Use Y Combinator's public company directory to list AI companies that sell to businesses. For each, note the headline, the pricing, and whether there is a page about security and data.
Send short free teardowns
For promising companies, write a one-line rewrite of their headline and list the buyer questions their site leaves unanswered. Claude can help you draft these, but check each one yourself.
Rewrite the main pages
Say what the product does and who it's for in one line. Answer what buyers ask before a demo: what it replaces, whether it fits their tools, and how it handles their data. Show real pricing instead of only 'contact sales'.
Add a page for security and finance
Build a trust page for the security, IT, and finance people who also read the site, even if the company's SOC 2 security certification is still in progress.
Make pages readable by Google and ChatGPT
Many sites built with Lovable or Bolt show very little text to search engines and AI tools. Rebuild key pages in Webflow, which publishes plain readable pages.
Hand over a site the team can edit
Set the client up in Webflow's editor so they can update the site as the product changes. Bill the project and any monthly upkeep through Stripe.

The poster says they sold website templates for 3 years, and by August their business was at a third of their best month, which they attribute to AI builders. They went through 101 agency websites and 2,945 YC startup homepages and found vague 'AI-powered platform' headlines, no pages for security, IT and finance readers, 'contact sales'-only pricing, and Lovable or Bolt sites that show ChatGPT about 8 words.
