Sell restaurants weekly social posts written from their specials

Build a simple web tool where a restaurant owner types in this week's menu specials and gets seven days of social media posts back. Owners pay a small monthly subscription.

The hard part: getting busy restaurant owners to notice and try the tool when many cheap caption writers already exist.

Who pays

Restaurant owners pay a monthly subscription to get a week of posts written from their specials. CosmosUnlocked reports charging $19 a month and says 94 restaurants signed up in 5 months, for $1,786 in monthly recurring revenue. These figures are the poster's own claim.

How to build it

  1. Build a simple specials form

Use Claude Code or Cursor to build a one-page app where the owner enters the restaurant name, its style, and this week's specials.

  2. Write seven days of posts

Send the specials to Claude with a prompt that writes seven captions, one per day, in the restaurant's voice with suitable hashtags.

  3. Save accounts and past posts

Store each restaurant's details and past weeks in Supabase so owners don't retype their information every week.

  4. Add a monthly subscription

Add Stripe Checkout for a monthly plan, such as the $19 a month the poster reports charging.

  5. Launch and reach local owners

Host the app on Vercel and reach owners directly, for example by walking into local restaurants or messaging them on Instagram with a free sample week.
