Sell musicians one link that collects their fans' videos
A simple tool that gives musicians and creators one shareable link where fans upload videos. The creator then uses those videos in their own content and pays a subscription for the tool.
The hard part: getting your first musicians and their managers to try it, since the tool is simple and the buyers are hard to reach.
Who pays
Musicians, creators, and their teams pay a recurring fee to collect fan videos in one place without chasing them over DMs and email. A listing on Acquire for a tool like this reports $124K in revenue over the last twelve months and $105K in annual recurring revenue, according to the poster. The listing doesn't give that tool's prices, so any plan prices you set are a suggestion.
How to build it
Build the fan upload page
Use Claude Code or Cursor to build a page, hosted on Vercel, where fans can upload a video from their phone with their name and an optional message, without creating an account.
Store videos for each creator
Save each upload in Supabase Storage under the creator's campaign so videos from different artists stay separate.
Give creators a simple dashboard
Let creators make a new link for each campaign, watch the videos that come in, and download the ones they want in one click.
Charge a monthly plan
Add Stripe Checkout with monthly plans, for example a limit on uploads or campaigns at each level.
Pitch artists and their teams
Message independent musicians, managers, and labels who already ask fans for videos in their posts, and offer to set up their first campaign link for them.
