Sell online sellers a one-page report on three competitors
Small Etsy, Shopify, and Amazon sellers name three competitor stores and pay you for a one-page report built from those stores' public listings, prices, and reviews. AI helps summarize it, and you check it by hand.
The hard part: picking the competitors that really matter and checking every AI point by hand so the report is worth paying for.
Who pays
Small online sellers pay a one-time fee for each report. The report covers pricing gaps, common review complaints, weak photos and titles, and five actions to take. The source gives no price and reports no revenue, so any fee you set, such as a flat price per report, is a suggestion. The poster suggests doing 2 free reports first as portfolio proof, then charging.
How to build it
Do two free sample reports
Find two small sellers in Etsy, Shopify, or Amazon seller groups and offer them a free report. Use the finished reports as portfolio proof.
Collect competitors' public listings and reviews
Ask the client for 3 competitor stores. Copy their public listings, prices, and reviews into a Google Doc or Sheet.
Summarize the findings with AI
Paste the material into Claude or ChatGPT. Ask for pricing gaps, common complaints in reviews, and weak product photos and titles.
Check every point by hand
Open the listings yourself and confirm each point before it goes in the report. Remove anything the AI got wrong or guessed.
Write a one-page PDF report
Lay out the findings on one page in Google Docs or Canva and end with 5 clear actions. Export it as a PDF.
Charge for reports with Stripe
Send a Stripe Payment Link for each paid report. Tell clients up front that AI helps you draft it.

hu_victoria071 suggests selling 'competitor snapshots' to small online sellers. The client gives you 3 competitor stores, you collect their public listings, prices, and reviews, an AI chat summarizes them, and you turn that into a 1-page PDF with 5 actions. The poster says your value is picking the right competitors and checking the output, and suggests doing 2 free ones for portfolio proof before charging.
